She seems to know not everyone can follow, or remember, pertinent details that are essential to understand the latest events.

It's a lot like the way Maddow reports on the day's events; sometimes a bit of history and details are essential to foster understanding as most people have a bit of trouble keeping it all straight and/or seeing the roots of today's news.

my assumption.

Republicans are cowards. They are a bunch of bullies, but are afraid to confront shithole and comrades.

Republicans have become a group of hateful godless sobs.
