Breaking the law left and right, we taxpayers apparently fund them for staying at luxury hotels.

Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo was among those present on June 7 as demonstrators holding signs with “ICE out of Pasadena” and other messages chased federal vehicles out of the luxury hotel’s parking garage, cheering and recording it all on their cellphones.

When I travel for the DOE, I have to stick within pretty tight per diem limits. If I can't find an hotel that fits within that ( rarely happens if you plan ahead) , I need a special authorization.
