They don't have to prove that. Their point is that that the very existence of DEI policies is, in itself, discriminatory.
This is the hole in the armor that racists and bigots and misogynists have been looking to exploit for years.
DEI policies were created to specifically encourage people of diverse backgrounds to apply for jobs because, historically, white males had a significant hiring advantage over other people.
The core of their argument is that racism and xenophobia and bigotry and misogyny don't exist anymore and therefore DEI policies are discrimination to white males.
