Sikh's are often confused by the willfully ignorant of being Muslim... and get attacked frequently both in the USA and in Europe for wearing a colorful turban. Sikh males, once they are of age, are required to carry a dagger or Kirpan.

While it does not excuse the stabbing, I would like to know what lead up to the attack.
