I was in the backseat of a car with a friend. We were trying to sound out words on passing signs. Suddenly it was like a switch closed, I was reading. Not my friend but me. I was just 4 by a few months.
By the time I was in 1st grade with the Dick, Jane and Spot primer I was reading about 3rd 4th grade. Needless to say I was bored.
