You might as well say we shouldn't allow anything stressful in our lives. Outlaw everything because it might make someone so stressful they will kill themselves.

The problem isn't ivf.

I have 3 wonderful adult kids, all conceived by ivf. We never thought of hurting ourselves or anyone else over the struggles with fertility.

You argument is dangerous. If you don't approve of ivf, don't undergo it. If you don't approve of abortion, don't have one. If you don't believe in cancer treatment, don't undergo any.

But don't make those decisions for anyone else.
