Nope... it's not "earned income" on which taxes are paid.

It's "unearned income" which has enough loopholes to never have to pay taxes of any kind. Always thought that was backwards. Earned Income should be tax exempt because it was done by the sweat of your brow or via the cortisol coursing through your body while trying to do a job with a micromanager hanging on your every keystroke.

Unearned income, which to me sounds like "gifts" and the like should be taxed at the highest rate. One didn't earn them; they were given to you, either via handout, bribe, or digital "paper."
