Republican Dan Meuser (US House, Pennsylvania's 9th district) Says Arson On Shapiro's House Should Make Him 'Tone It Down' On Trump
Meuser also compared the attack on Shapiro, whom Trump has slammed as a highly overrated Jewish Governor, during a religious holiday to the recent attacks on Tesla properties.
The whole thing with the governors office yesterday being attacked ― and on Passover, which was horrible, absolutely awful, needs to be condemned. But, you know, it just kills me, and I hate to have to go back to this, but theres been so many Tesla dealerships firebombed, Meuser said on The Bob Cordaro Show on WILK Newsradio.
Meanwhile you got those on the left continuing to make kind of, you know, violent type of hostile commentary, he continued
.
What was she wearing?
20 years ago this kind of comment would have been unthinkable. Now its just everyday Republican hate.

According to several search warrant applications filed by the Pennsylvania State Police, Cody Balmer called 911 at 2:50 a.m. Sunday morning about 50 minutes after the fire and said Shapiro should know that Balmer "will not take part in his plans for what he wants to do to the Palestinian people."
Balmer said he'd had friends killed, according to police, and that "our people have been put through too much by that monster." It was unclear what connection he has to the Palestinian territories, if any. Balmer added that "all he has is a banquet hall to clean up." Both the dining room and piano room suffered significant damage from the fire.
Shapiro, a Democrat, is Jewish and has said he supports a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict. He faced criticism last year for an opinion piece he wrote as a University of Rochester student arguing that peace would never come to the Middle East and that Palestinians were "too battle-minded," WHYY reported.

Meuser is not one to let any opportunity to show his own bigotry and hatred of free speech and democracy go to waste, clearly. The arsonist mentioned the issue on which Shapiro holds a pretty centrist view, and instead Meuser blames the victim and tells him to shut up about other issues.

(27,947 posts)Do I have to still wait for more evidence to claim that there is a huge amount of antisemitism involved in this process? I was told I had to wait for the facts to come out before I could make any assumption that a Jewish home was firebombed on Passover. Are the facts out yet, or do I need to have a signed affidavit from the perpetrator?
Enquiring minds want to know.

No need to wait, my friend. Absolute BS that Shapiro needs to "tone down his rhetoric." When, exactly, is Trump - or the "Trump flappers" going to tone down their rhetoric?!

He left the company to run for office but seems to still be associated with it. There was some trouble with hiring several undocumented workers. Oh, and he voted to invalidate PAs 2020 election results. And then there was some trouble with stock trades with his wife and children. Details and more are on his wiki page. Hes a sleeze.
