I guess Trump doesn't know that other countries have cows. Nor do his voters.

Sen. Warner noted that we don’t have a trade deficit with Australia, but Trump’s representative said Australia was obstructing beef imports from the US. Are we winning yet?

I’m sure that those in Trump’s orbit and many of his supporters felt “the world needs the US to survive “. To some extent this might be true but now we’re finding out that other countries have the ability to meet their needs elsewhere.

Like I said, tiny rays...

It has been a long couple of months.

I was literally sitting in a courthouse for a family member going through an asylum hearing when the news of the El Salvador flights was breaking (defying the judges order). I didn't know if i would see my family member step out of the court room.

the live cattle supply is kind of low right now so cattle producers are actually getting fair prices for live animals. losing a market for processed beef wont affect farmers and ranchers for a while.

Trump is literally making it so other countries will find alternatives to the US.

And they can withhold raw materials and components that can cripple US companies.

Irreparable harm that was totally unnecessary.
