Great rally today in Ventura by the County building complex. More than April 5, prob 2,000 today

I am loving this. Chatted up some people, waved at lots of traffic. Noted once again that this movement needs songs.

Annoyed a young man in a big shiny pickup truck, stopped at the traffic light. He was loudly playing “Proud to Be an America (where at least I know I’m free) “ which prompted eye-rolls from the people I was with — then he played “Hail To The Chief” which I actually kind of like, so I started singing along “bum-da-da bum-bum” etc and that’s when he got annoyed, probably because he thought only trump had the rights to it.

Other truckers (the real ones whose medium-to-big rigs were obviously doing a day’s work) honked in support and waved.
