Nashville 4/19 rally was exhilarating!
Centennial Park was already booked for an Earth Day event, so it was a sidewalk rally on both sides of West End Ave. bordering the main entrance to Centennial Park . This was actually a lot better for community engagement, as West End Ave. is a major thoroughfare that runs from downtown, past Vanderbilt U., and on into the western suburbs, so there was a lot of traffic. The honking and waving from so many drivers-by was awesome! Yes, there were a few, but only a few, middle fingers and thumbs down, but the proportion of rousing supportive drivers was overwhelming. I didn't take any pictures or videos but I found this online. If you click the poster's name there are lots of other cities represented, including scenes from Ventura CA which include Neil Young with his Hands Off Canada sign!
