NY Times, Wash. Post Finally Decide to Put Protest News on Front Page

‘Shame!’ Protesters Nationwide Rally Again to Condemn Trump Policies.

A decent-sized story, too. They finally woke up to the story, which considering how long it has taken, should be the number one story in America because it is through our own efforts that we are going to kick this asshole and his sickening chronies out of the White House.

Paywall-free link.

Lots of good pics, too! There's a slide show on the front page and many pics at the story link.

has around 310 comments, and someone noted they failed to write about it on the April 5 protest. Here is what one comment said:

At least the paper reasonably covered the events this time, unlike the “larger” ones on the 5th.

Probably some really complicated Swiss bank.account that involves people taping wads of cash to their bodies and meeting in the back of the school behind the dumpster at 3 PM.

Aha! I know how he did it in NJ. Remember the drones? I remembering seeing random $250 Dollar Bills floating around a few months ago.

and one of the attendees said sarcastically - but I was expecting money. We all had a moment.

One of the things I love is all the creative home made signs. I guess George Soros is busy with his makers and poster board.

Columbia SC. Last protest was a small story the following day. Local TV and web sites were running it as lead story today.

Other than a small mention at the bottom of the Post front page don’t see any coverage of the protests.

Is there a way you can get the earlier ones? Just prior to the time I posted.

Another way would be to look at the time of the first comments.

I wonder if there’s a reason these stories were moved off the front page so quickly.

On edit: I have a subscription to both plus another service that issues the entire print layout. Maybe they captured it. I will check later when I’m on my computer.

I pulled these directly from their websites this morning. Front pages of the print editions do vary from the front pages of the online editions, especially if the online version is using an algorithm based on the user’s profile.

Doesn't begin to make up for the trump-sucking coverage the NYT and Post engaged in, during the campaign. Unforgivable.

At their job and their failure to cover this situation we’re in is a big reason for it.

they showed the protest in which I participated Saturday, April 20!

She even said the town name and as they drove the expanse of the protest, I was amazed at how -big that protest was!

They just chose to downplay anything that showed that not all Americans were enamored with Dear Leader.
