I don't expect him to be flawless at his age, but he is gutsy, well-spoken, and knows the issues. I think he is going to be very important for the Democratic party.

He's one of the bravest people around, and he's the future. I can't wait for the old guard to step down so more David Hoggs can take over the party. Long overdue.

The other link appears to simply be a reading by a computer generated voice.

Unfortunately, Priebus really shouted over David Hogg, and didn't really let him get his message across.

For example, most are opting to "play nice" when it comes to the NLRB whistleblower when they should be in front of every camera that comes anywhere near them forcefully telling America about the serious security breach because of DOGE. If you could quiz a hundred random people on the street, I would be surprised if one had even heard about this. Or had ever heard of the NLRB and what they do. We need more AOC/Bernie-style representatives. Being in Congress should be a passion, not just a job.

"Being in Congress should be a passion, not just a job."

I'm glad he's running for Congress. In Florida, that will be big indication of his future when he beats a Republican since there are so many there.

Not for years now iirc. Once he graduated high school and left for college.

I believe he lives in DC (which obviously doesn’t have any Congressional representation)

When you spend time trying to piss off experienced public servants, don't expect a lot of support from said experienced public servants.

You do know Bernie Sanders isn't a member of the Democratic Party, right? He would have way more credibility if he were.

While his initial impression fell short of winning my favor, I remain hopeful that he will undergo personal growth and development. Though I may not share the same level of admiration as his supporters, I wish for his success and hope that he will be able to play a constructive role in the advancement and fortification of the Democratic party.

Echoing the timeless adage, the significance and importance of making a good first impression cannot be overstated in the realm of politics.
