She showed a clip of a mother in Maryland whose daughter had been murdered by an immigrant and how she disagreed with Senator Van Hollen going to El Salvador.
In an awkward moment for Shannon Breen, Senator Van Hollen pointed out that the girl's murder had nothing to do with Abrega Garcia and that the person that killed her daughter was found guilty and sentenced in a court of law by due process. He also pointed out that the Trump White House was trying to connect the two. Shannon Breen looked like someone who got caught with her hand in the cookie jar. She realized there was no correlation between the two.
