Reading this site today is why Americans must close their wallets!

Stop making any impulse purchases. Pay bills. Save money. Spend conservatively and judiciously.

What is happening to America is awful and will only be fixed by a massive economic downturn.

Machiavelli saw how people will turn on their leaders 5 centuries ago and he outlined it in The Prince.

History is replete with examples of people turning against leadership - finally - when their economic situation is poor. This happens in US and world history.

An economy is a method of speech. I choose to voice my displeasure by not spending.

And defeat of their MAGA nominee in 2028. We must eradicate Trumpism and a deep economic downturn will hopefully do that.

My point is that there are a LOT of leaps of faith between "stop buying things" and "economic downturn" and "then we can win the election." A lot of people get hurt in the meantime, with little likelihood of success -- or an economic turnaround.

Out of necessity. Particularly, Seniors. And they will need to do more for their own survival soon. Not all are purchasing sport or concert tickets.

The ACLU is, right now, doing amazing work, and recommend we all donate to them (some more).

Spend money doing home repairs and updating appliances before they are too expensive

Or we could travel to places we've always wanted to go and eat out at expensive restaurants before the dollar has no value

We have no clue how to play this
