Freshly-elected Pope Francis gave a speech where he laid out his vision that the Catholic Church should care more about the poor and less about institutions.
In response, Fox News began throwing around the question of whether a Pope can be impeached and what the procedures for impeaching a Pope are.
Remember how Republicans got offended when a bishop dared to preach christian values in the presence of the Mad King?
What are the odds Republicans won't get offended by a new Pope calling for peace and human rights in our world, calling for mercy in the war-torn countries of Palestine and Ukraine? Calling for help for the plight of immigrants?
How long until the party of Jeffrey Epsteyn attacks the Catholic Church for their pedophilia controversies? How long until good conservative Christians argue that the Vatican is hypocritical for not housing refugees in its palaces, completely ignoring the moral imperative on THEMSELVES?

I can only hope that Pope Francis' personal selection of so many new Cardinals will make the difference.
