Rest in Peace Pope Francis.

May your spirit live on in the heart hearts of others. You were gracious and generous to everyone who came along on your journey. Thank you for all you have accomplished.

As a Catholic, this heart breaking. He was one of the kindest Pope ever. He met with many people of different faiths, backgrounds, beliefs and cultures. He was kind to each of them. He also spoke with relevance and confidence. If he was criticizing someone, he did it in a way that it would not be mean, yet meaningful to get his point across. Many people including Catholics did not like him because of his political beliefs and his religious views. He wanted everyone to be free from persecution. He was a religious man and a leader who lived a life of devotion to the Lord and to his people of faith.

On another note, Trump will be upset that you are taking the news away from. I hope you’re smiling about this?

I really, really admired and respected Pope Francis too. and felt it in my stomach when I heard his death announced. I remember being so shocked and happily astounded when he made that proclamation about global warming. At that moment I knew this was a special Pope.

There will be a lot of sadness, even amongst non-Catholics and non-Christians.
