They are arresting people who have no criminal record and sending them to prisons.. No protective hearings to make sure that they have not arrested the wrong people..

(SEE: Soviet Russia for the downsides of quotas.)

I've heard anywhere from 600 to 6k "murderous illegal thugs and gang members" a day, depending on which mouthpiece was talking over the past few months.
They're too chicken shit (or corrupt -I have no doubt there's ICE that are affiliated or have business with MS-13, the Russian Mob, or other immigrant gangs) to go after the actual gang members - especially those members who are already in prison after a legit trial.
So they go after those immigrants in protected status or who have visas close to expiration but aren't naturalized yet.
One of the kidlet's buddies here on an extended work (Building Trades) visa that expired last month got a DUI on St. Patrick's Day; ICE showed up in court, filed some more bogus charges (for someone in a different state from his home country with a similar name) that got him held up in jail without the ability to renew for an additional two weeks until it got sorted out, so his visa expired - and then they started deportation proceedings.
He was in the States for nearly 20 years, had a 16 year old daughter and an ex-wife in New Jersey.
He was put on a plane to Brazil Saturday.
Ya, they have a quota.
