I hope he's thinking about that.

I think this Pope did his best in a very resistive organization to make change for the better.

He impressed me when he apologized to countries for the Catholic churches past actions.

Not a fan of Catholicism for all the obvious historic reasons and their lingering issues around women, abortion and so on but did like the Pope for trying to steer things in a better direction and owning some of the past sins of the church in a more meaningful way. Plenty more to do so will be interesting to see what the shape and type of the new pope is. If you haven't seen it, I recommend the movie Conclave for both its acting and the story line about the process of replacing a pope.
