The Wisdom that went un-noticed...

The sky high tax rates on the Ugliarchs in the mid-century was an effective curb on the influence of the obscenely wealthy on our politics. The "long arc of History" had been twisted into a Dollar-Sign, and the decisions going forward will be of, by, and for the Wealthy, as jobs are taken by machines the workers are surplused and made "useless eaters". This point needs to be made in Spades. This road ends in a cul-de-sac.

AI and robots will do their work for them.

And billionaires will make sure they have all the money and resources in the world.
The only ones left to scam and rip off will be each other.
