paid for my degree. They covered everything except books. I was also able to study at work. That was back in the 90s and tuition was cheaper then too. I was very lucky.

6. I went to college on the GI Bill during the Vietnam War because my father was a 100% disabled vet

from WWII. I was a professional student and it seemed like a good time to be in school and back then college was cheap compared to now. It took me 5 years to graduate and I had to borrow $600 in my last semester and paid it back in the next year.
