The feud between the governor and Florida Republicans is intensifying.Florida House members had an interesting Wednesday thanks to Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Around noon Eastern time, constituents of Republican lawmakers around the state started getting a text message.
Its Gov. DeSantis. Florida House leaders are working with Democrats to stop our agenda and sabotage Floridas success, it read. Call your State Rep ... and tell them to stand with the people and me to keep Florida free!
Florida House members were deluged with calls, three elected officials told the Times/Herald.
The texts came from Restore Our Nation (RON) PAC, a DeSantis-associated committee that is dedicated to supporting energetic, conservative leadership that delivers on its word, according to its fundraising webpage.

(6,962 posts)I'm 15 minutes away from ski slopes here in California and am part owner with my siblings in a house near Yosemite. I WILL miss the mountains, forests, etc. But have to go where the work is. In about ten years I can retire and head back to the left coast, but probably go to my wife's home state of Oregon.
Talked to a friend last night, he was a big time right winger, not as much anymore. Told me he will probably work until he dies as he never saved anything for retirement. I know others who are the same, seems to be a common trait.
