One of this group of internal refugees. Will be actually completing the move at some point, logistical issues are holding me up at the moment.

4. I don't kniw if DU is the place

but perhaps it would be worth posting any broad aspects of the logistics problems, if they are ones people might be able to help with. To then be clarified with DM etc. with individuals. Just a thought. For exampke, I live in SE New England, if me being in that location could be useful.

3. The only coverage I've seen on this in the US media is in regard to climate,

specifically TX and FL. It was presented as being climate driven rather than politically driven. Have to remain neutral, ya know.

5. The figures related to preganancy and abortion laws were stunning.

And I would be among them if not already in a blue state. (Not that being in a blue state feels sufficent anymore)
