He Yadong, a spokesman for China’s Ministry of Commerce, said on Thursday that “there are currently no economic and trade negotiations between China and the United States, and any claims about progress in China-U.S. economic and trade negotiations are baseless rumors without factual evidence.”

Should it surprise anyone that the Mango Mussolini and his band of sycophants looked the American people straight in the eye and lied?

Not sure I understand the rose colored glasses of the stock market but any gains are a lie but that is a lie we are telling ourselves. We are living in a fantasy world.
Our global supply chain is already in collapse, we just haven't felt it yet...but we will.
Barring significant changes, I would guess we have just weeks before the house of cards the Republicans have built starts to fall apart in ways that are impossible to hide or spin.
We are on an incredibly dangerous path and I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.

And they will continue until Trump either fires the few sane people, or Trump figures out crashing the entire US economy has no long term upside. Or I guess neither and we have 3.66 years more of officials going on TV telling a different story and explaining a different policy every other day.
