Texas attorney gave legal advice to undocumented family. Then law officers showed up at his door. Disabled his WiFi.
I (& others) would be grateful for expert advice on:
1. Best way to respond/intercede when people claiming to be LEOs refuse to identify themselves or produce warrants
2. How to proactively ensure that encounters are documented, given the (apparent) attacks on security systems described here.

A Texas attorney gave some free legal advice to an undocumented family. Then two law enforcement officers showed up at his door.

I have a buddy whos former federal law enforcement and is now a lawyer. So I called him and asked him if federal agencies have the technological capability to shut someones Wifi down without them knowing, and if thats something they do. And he said Hell yes. He said they do it all the time when they want to have an informal interview with somebody and dont want to be recorded.
