Nice young couple I know.
Struggled to get pregnant, lots of fertility treatments
over a few years,
Now their miracle baby is here.
Of course, even though she has a great job at a hospital,
some sort of administrative position, that hospital being
attached to a public university ,, well the maternity leave benefits
are minimal.
Essentially, no pay maternity leave, but a guaranteed job on return
in 60 days, or something like that. Their so-called PAID maternity leave
is using up your accumulated vacation days, and accumulated sick days.
So its really not a PAID maternity leave at all, just bullshit media propaganda by this Red State.
AND the husband, well he did really well financially in Real Estate,
Up until the last couple of months, thanks to idiot Trump.
They will survive financially,
But their savings is getting hit, since they live in a Red State
where her hospital employer doesnt provide real paid maternity leave.
And their health care coverage is thru her job at hospital,
So after vacation day pay is used up, they will pay out
of pocket for continuing insurance coverages.
My, how They would have a far better life in Sweden
