The beginning of Ari's show tonight is very good. He points out that trump is underwater with all groups--women, men, young, old, black, white, Asian, Hispanic, college educated, non-college educated.
Wow. And I don't see anything wrong with pointing this out loudly and often.

(942 posts)Unfortunately, many in the groups listed above voted for him, refused to listen to those of us who said vote for the supremely competent women not the 34 time convicted felon. Well, they got what they voted for. If they want sympathy, they can look it up in the dictionary.

(822 posts)I would add that there are Conservatives on the Right who are with us against Trump. Robert Reich just wrote a good article on this a couple of days ago on the Substack platform (I think the title is "The View From The Right". I do not have an immediate link). Conservative commentators like David Brooks and Andrew Sullivan have come out with editorials and statements against Trump. We may not agree with all of their positions, but we can agree that we are in favor of Democracy and the Constitution and that we are against Trump and Dictatorship. Brooks recently wrote an article in the New York Times calling for a National Civic Uprising. You know Trump is bad when he can bring some Conservatives and Progressives together in the same cause: stopping Trump.

(109,263 posts)who basically poo-pooed all these negative polls, saying how badly pollsters have proven for 12 years now in polling, since his supporters are supposedly not included due to the means in which they reach out. I was listening via TuneIn and not watching but it was jarring--especially since she lauded whoever it was suggesting "finally someone was speaking to her concerns..."
While he didn't deny there could be some slippage, he was suggesting Dems were "going to the bank with little to depost," basically.
Did anyone see this? Who was it?
