Duh!...I was today yrs old on finding out that The Heritage Foundation is a Christian Nationalist organization!

From The Kettering Foundation
(works to support, and help democracies thrive)

"The plan calls for establishing a government that would be imbued with “biblical principles” and run by a president who holds sweeping executive powers.".

GAK!

All these years. I always knew they were RW, but I don't associate all RW'rs with Christian Nationalism. And much, if not all of the RW agenda is an anathema to me.

As far as CNs goes...I got "introduced" warned about them back in when Air America was broadcasting - early mid '90s. It was either Mike Malloy, or Thom Hartman who talked about Christian Dominists. I went to a few of the CD sites back then at an anonymous Internet Cafe.

🚨 Warning: very offensive ideas
.
.
.
.
.
They talked about bring back slavery.
[I know many Black Americans wouldn't be surprised. Not sure I am...maybe having out there on the Internet where all can see. Otoh they CD don't care what other's think in their "righteous" cause.
Still, even David Duke tried to "clean up" The Klan's image at one point. ]

Then if a son was either too disobedient to their farher....Stone him!

Of course, we have a "good" idea of their plans for women. And worse for the LGBTQUI community.

Since I watched The Handmaid's Tale S1 - S5 back 3 yrs ago. Now in the last 5 eps of S6 the final season... it makes it all the more creepy finding this out: which was from a vid someone sent me just a few days ago that I watched earlier tonight.
Just.....woah!

with the religious right. He singlehandedly created it, despite his being Catholic. He died in 2008, but his dubious influence lives on.

One thing that stood out was their section on training. They teach all kinds of programs (more like "tactics&quot . Talk about indoctrination! I don't know if Dems have anything like this, I'm not aware if they do.

With over a dozen programs led by policy analysts, subject-matter experts, and seasoned practitioners, The Heritage Foundation is the leader in training and educational programming for conservatives. When we invest time in professional development, we become more effective—as individuals and as a Movement—in advancing our shared ideas and values. They also hold all kinds of events. This is from their upcoming event on May 1st. From the description:

How can the Department of Health and Human Services under Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. encourage the wider use of alternative treatments in its mission to treat the human body as an integrated whole and solve problems, not symptoms? While targeting chronic disease to make Americans healthy again, the new administration should not overlook new applications of existing and proven therapies to improve patients’ lives.

The thing about fanatics is that they are highly motivated and so are also sometimes highly organized. We could use something similar on our side. I am pretty fanatical about Democracy and the Constitution. Maybe we could build training programs and professional development operations around that.
