Steve Bannon offered the bullish prediction that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wont be behind the podium for long and that President Donald Trump may offer her a major cabinet position.
After shes spokesman for a year or two, I think shes going to get a Cabinet position. Maybe chief of staff, Bannon said in a new Politico Magazine profile.
Speaking to the outlet for an article tracing Leavitts rise from small-town campaigner to Trumps combative spokesperson, Bannon described how hed cast her early on as a raw but promising activist.
She was such a longshot, he said, recalling why he gave her early airtime on War Room. She wasnt perfect. She had a lot of rough edges. But she learned the lesson Andrew Breitbart did when he first started. He would do the most obscure talk radio in Montana and Wyoming just do reps.

(1,274 posts)A statement phrased as a prediction, especially a "soft" prediction, can plant a seed in the mind of someone receptive to the speaker's influence.
For instance, it's a basic pattern of conversational hypnosis to say things like "I wonder if you can imagination how it will feel when..." or similar statements of future conditions. The mind follows along easily.
And to continue the seed metaphor, Trump's mind being already so laden with manure, he's very suggestible. He'll come up with the idea himself, of course.
Also, Leavitt has the right hairstyle and color, and Suzie Wiles (sp?) at some point will be disposed of, because Trump.
