FBI Director Kash Patel announced on Friday morning via X that agents had arrested Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan for allegedly helping an undocumented immigrant evade federal agents before he swiftly deleted the post.
Still, the arrest, and Patels choice to make and then erase the announcement on social media has ignited a media firestorm. Some experts, including CNN analyst Juliette Kayyem, are speculating that the wording of the statement may have been problematic:

that the public and institutions will tolerate. This is the 3rd mistake in less than 2 weeks if memory is engaged.
It's an implicit admission that no one understands legitimacy or any other standard ethical measure.
