FBI Director Kash Patel announced on Friday morning via X that agents had arrested Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan for allegedly helping an undocumented immigrant “evade” federal agents — before he swiftly deleted the post.



Still, the arrest, and Patel’s choice to make — and then erase — the announcement on social media has ignited a media firestorm. Some experts, including CNN analyst Juliette Kayyem, are speculating that the wording of the statement may have been problematic:

that the public and institutions will tolerate. This is the 3rd mistake in less than 2 weeks if memory is engaged.

It's an implicit admission that no one understands legitimacy or any other standard ethical measure.
