It's all Kabuki theatre

After all what have we really learned? Nothing that we didn't know before. Trump was already known to be in Epsteins passenger list, and a young woman testified he was present for at least one Epstein party. We already know that Musk is getting billions in federal contracts. So what's the point of this feud? Distraction, distraction, distraction. Distraction from that abomination of a bill currently in the Senate. Distraction from news the economy is really starting to head south. Distraction from the ever more apparent fact that this administration, and those who follow it are corrupt, cruel, and incompetent.

Oh, and it also might have a personal enrichment subplot(not uncommon for Trump shows). Yesterday Tesla stock dropped like a rock. Last night there was supposedly a "rapproachment" between the two. Voila! Tesla futures start climbing. Don't think there are a couple of guys making money off that?

All this Sturm und Drang is nothing more that Kabuki theater, a distraction designed to cover what they don't want you to see, the truth. Don't fall for it.

We know it is a bad bill, but Muck saying so loudly, so publicly, puts pressure on the Bill and it will be modified or will face a long process. That's a real consequence.

Musk is literally tweeting that the bill is an abomination and that Trump’s tariffs are going to cause a recession in the next six months. If anything this is bringing significantly MORE attention to those issues, not distracting from them.

That’s why most of us are sitting back and enjoying this, because far from distracting from anything, it’s laying bare what a total disaster the current Republican Party is, how bad crony capitalism is, and why oligarchs shouldn’t be in charge of government.

Musk convinced Silicon Valley billionaires to switch from Democrats to Magats and then Krasnov stabbed them in the back and took away their alternative energy government subsidies.

There had been a kind of truce going on between the fossil fuel industry and the alternative energy industry and then Krasnov picked a side.

Krasnov didn't just fuck over Tesla, he fucked over all of alternative energy companies, what will he do now?

..... is that the ill/uninformed general public thinks Musk is on the outs and DOGE is done.

Not so fast in conclusions,...

DOGE is alive and well - it just has a new mastermind running the show - being Peter Thiel and his subsidiary Palantir.

trDUMP has signed a substantial government contract for Palantir to pickup where DOGE left off. The mission is to consolidate personal and private information across all government data bases of all American citizens to be used as a surveillance tool/weapon.

Donald trDUMP and Peter Thiel want desperately to get their hands on the information knowing that on the open market those consolidated databases will be worth billions and billions of dollars. That information is the life blood of powerful and dangerous Artificial Intelligence surveillance systems.

The DOGE mission goes on, but now that it is under the watchful eye of Peter Thiel - DOGE will be pushed into the back ground in the hopes people will think the rampant collection of government databases to external hard drives has been shutdown and disbanded. It is alive and well and working like little beavers to steal that private and confidential information - but off the radar screen - so public concerns about DOGE will quickly subside, thinking with eLoon Musk out of the picture the mission of DOGE is now defunct.

■○■○■○■○
Dò not be fooled,... this rampant data mining of government databases is not just to assist federal agencies like ICE to better execute deportations. This Motherload database is to put all Americans under surveillance as a tool and a weapon to keep the citizenry in line and punish those not loyal to the Christo-Fascist MAGA government.
■○■○■○■○■○

The Trump administration has tapped Palantir — the notorious data-mining firm co-founded by billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel — to compile information on people in the United States for a “master database,” creating an easy way to cross-reference sensitive data from tax records, immigration records and more. Palantir also has a $30 million contract with ICE to provide almost real-time visibility into immigrants’ movements as the agency seeks to arrest 3,000 people a day. Wired reporter Makena Kelly says the company is “becoming an operation system for the entire government,” and describes how Palantir’s contracts with the Trump administration are an outgrowth of work done by Elon Musk’s DOGE which aims to “centralize data all across government.”

Of course they are hiding what is going on, overall, but egomaniacs like Trump and Musk were bound to end up here, it was just a matter of time. I'm surprised it took this long.

The real game is likely that Musk/Thiel/Vance/Putin/oligarchs want Trump out, because he's too much of an idiot to get their plans to work.

Watched Ari Melber last night for first time in a long time. tsf said Musk was basically fine with the budget bill until they pulled the electric vehicle tax credit. Both that and the tarriffs are further going to harm Tesla and in the case of the tarriffs his space industry too.

These two are children in mens clothing who throw tantrums when they don't get their way, especially when it involves money. Their egos collided and blew. Now comes the debris. Who knows it might blow over, but I don't think it's fake.

they can survive if they pass the bill, having Musk do creative theatre would take the onus off Trump's failure. Just thinking out loud. The drug thing doesn't fit that scenario, unless it was coming out anyway. In any case, I would be a fool to take anything at face value. Everything they do is theatre. It makes sense to me to maintain a certain level of skepticism about any of these social media dustups. While I hope it's true, it may be real or it may not, and none of us actually know for sure. Until there are actual real-world consequences that wouldn't be happening if not for this bullshit, then it's basically meaningless distraction.

I will watch passively with about as much interest as I can muster up for a good sports article.
