4. I think that you are correct.

Look at the widespread disenfranchisement by Republicans, kicking people off voter rolls. We don't see that covered like it should be by CNN or MSNBC, certainly not by Faux News or OANN.
One summer Friday afternoon Musk would tell how he had rigged the election. It would be covered for a few days, but by Monday Trump would do something outrageous to suck the air out of the room. The Republicans who are desperate to steal elections anyway they can, and the Democratic upper echelons who are desperate to keep people from realizing the huge problems with our elections so that voter turnout doesn't drop even lower, both sides would breathe a sigh of relief and chase Trump's new outrageous thing.
And one more huge blow would be struck against democracy in the US.

With Hillary. The evidence was thete... if normal procedures had been followed we wouldn't be in this mess today. Plus we were told consistently that there is no remedy for removing an illegally elected president. We'd be in that same place today. The only thing that could be done is impeachment and conviction... and we know the repugs would kill all evidence along the way.

How much of this is on loosey-goosey technicalities of the law being decided in their favor by shopped judges? And... how much evidence is now being shredded by the DOGE Purge and other operatives in efforts to "downsize government"?
The entire Republican Party is complicit in this obstruction and should be prosecuted for their complicity... Except they are "in control of the investigation".
HUGE reform is needed in Elections and more effective oversight measures are needed in investigating and litigating corruption by Congress. Impeachment process is riddled with vagueness and partisanship, being instead a best-and-most poll of partisan dominance, always won by the Senate Balance of Power. Rigged, top to bottom.
