There are agents provocateur loose on Bluesky

I noticed a Bluesky post from Robert Reich urging people to remain peaceful in the face of the militarization in L.A. was met with a flurry of replies noting it was easy for him and other rich white men to say as much. They were followed by others amping tension and negating calls for non-violent resistance.

2. But like...it IS easy for someone not on the ground to hold forth about tactics when local organizers might be working

toward a different outcome. And just because people aren't dedicated to "peaceful protest" doesn't mean they're agents provocateurs.

Why make it harder to kick the police state into its next gear, eh?

3. We have unnamed, unmarked, masked and black uniformed individuals pulling people off the street and out of homes ...

... schools and businesses. Non violence is a train that has left the station. If Congress is going to sit on their hands, if the the police actually protect the "agents" grabbing people and no one backs up court orders, we have only one option left. Escalating disobedience and actions in the streets.
