I understand the implication here; however I’m finding it hard to empathize here.

They aren’t there as legal or defense observers; they are there to gawk and scoop an escalation of their complicity.

3. The press doesn't need "a pass." It has the First Amendment.

The purpose of the press is to report the facts. If the facts cause a reaction, that means the press is doing its job.

There is no justification for firing on the media.

4. They should have included a time stamp! I don't think those are Nat'l Guard, as I don't believe they arrived

here until this morning. In the video they are dressed the way the LAPD, ICE, etc. were at that location yesterday.
