In a country with a national security apparatus, why did they need a separate agency, an unbridled growth state entity for small-minded politicians? Have they solved any terrorist cases? Ones that NSA/CIA/FBI/DOJ couldn't handle?

They will pick out certain votes or things and ignore the larger picture.

(27,418 posts)I was calling it the "KGWB"---mashup of "KGB" (which it resembled) and "GWB" (who created it). And Tom Ridge just looked like a Soviet Commisar--without the battle ribbons.
Maybe now it should be called the "KG-T-B" in a nod to the Crime Minister, who usually likes it when his name is on something.
