Musk vs Trump is a cautionary tale for Silicon Valleyhttps://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/topstories/musk-vs-trump-is-a-cautionary-tale-for-silicon-valley/ar-AA1GiZfR
The last paragraph is the best.
Story by Michael Moritz
The writer is a longtime Silicon Valley investor, former board member of PayPal and an investor in SpaceX
The eruption between Elon Musk and Donald Trump has reverberated around the world. It must be mortifying for those in Silicon Valley who threw their support behind the president thinking he would shrink the federal government. With Musks departure, any hope of a disciplined approach to the US government and budget goes as well. Musk is right; the Trump budget is an abomination.
lavish praise of Musk (deleted)
By comparison, Trump has none of Musks business acumen or his attention span. Since the inauguration, he has run the government just like he operated his own business, raising mountains of debt and betraying employees, while escaping unscathed himself.
What is the result of this meeting of company builder and medieval monarch? Its the opposite of what was promised: a US budget that has ballooned, debt levels that will only rise and crushing interest payments that make the country vulnerable to its largest creditors Japan and China.
One word of advice for those in Silicon Valley who followed Musks lead and sided with Trump. Leave. Dont delude yourself that you are working to make crypto a part of global finance, minimising artificial intelligence regulation, helping start-up companies or protecting the interests of Silicon Valley. You have no sway. You are just cannon fodder.

Completely predictable. He rolled in the hay with the tech bros, got his hacked election, got his entree into the slimy world of crypto and "Thanks for the ride, my true love is the maga troglodytes. And money., money, money.
Dumb Shits.

Trump and Musk have the same approach to government. Rack up debt and fire a bunch of people.
The guy is almost there and then took a dive to miss the point.

Other than the Elon tongue-bath, partial credit for fessing up, but otherwise, FUCK OFF.
"with Musks departure, any hope of a disciplined approach to the US government and budget goes as well." As if the drug addled billionaire had some kind of methodical plan for improvement, other than actually enriching himself! He stole your identity and passed it along people, get a clue. (One criminal's judgement is not more sound than the other). Give me a break!
