Speaking in tongues (glossolalia) is seen as "the manifestation of the Holy Spririt's presence and power." I'm surprised Trump didn't also mention snake handling in this Presidential Message.

No President would ever have written something like this. Every administration has staff for this kind of thing.

It actually showed some knowledge of scripture (not 2 Corinthians), no all caps rants, or misspellings.

We'll ignore Muslim bans...cause you know they don't get to worship God.

Or the no establishment clause of the Constitution...
Or that Pentecost is the Greek translation of a Jewish festival that brought many to Jerusalem because as many of his followers would shot "Jews will not replace us" ...

Not sure what hypocrites in the press release department wrote this. But they should be ashamed of themselves

I am struck by the Pentecost being 50 days after Easter, which is close timing to Shavuot coming after 49 days of counting the omer starting at the beginning of Passover. Shavuot commemorates receiving the Torah.

In my memory, the celebration of the Pentecost was bot one of the more major Catholic holidays.

I think priest did put on a different colored chausuble and stole for the day, and the mass was a little longer, but there were saints days that seemed to be considered more important, especially if they had to do with mary.
