Prediction: Trump's approval will go up after the LA protests

Because a too large portion of Americans always side with the fascist State.

Wall Street looks like they are giving Trump the thumbs up today.

Too many think nothing is more important than money. Not their country, not about religion(even if they claim to be believe in one), not their fellow citizens or friends, and in some cases not even their own family. Until those people suffer substantial financial loss, they will continue to bow to the Orange one. No matter what other horrendous things he does.

Even inflation, which everyone said his tariffs would push up, has cooled even more since he became president.

I think people just need to operate from the perspective that the worst-case expectation isn't a guarantee.

all part of the First Amendment of the Constitution.

trump, Kegbreath and cosplay Barbie have sent thousands of Nat'l Guard troops and 700 ACTIVE DUTY MARINES to LA without food, water or a place to sleep. There are photos out now showing troops, who've spent hours standing in the sun and facing fellow Americans, sleeping of the floor in buildings in LA.

Typical of the incompetent trump and his clown car cabinet cabal.

These morons are ordering troops deployed and don't know what or how to do it. They're all cosplaying.

Without food, water of a place to sleep.

Undocumented workers are mostly at private companies, the Dow, s&p, etc., are all public companies.

This drama affects real people and has major implications down the line, but for now, public company profits aren't really affected... yet.

Stopping a fascist authoritarian takeover is not about what polls well day to day. If the Dems want to poll better, Dem politicians will need to show they’re really fighting with the people. Anything else is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, and worrying about the popularity of icebergs in passenger polls.

Trump's actions in LA are unpopular and never going to help his approval ratings.

https://today.yougov.com/topics/politics/survey-results/daily/2025/06/10/50147/4

Do you approve or disapprove of deploying Marines to the Los Angeles area to respond to protests over the federal government's immigration enforcement?

I’ve already seen people I know that hate drumpf a vote liberal saying LA riots are out of control. Why? The media. If 100000 people peacefully protest, and one person burns a police car, guess which event gets played on a loop over and over again?

The media time and again plays right into trump’s hands, using the exceptions and not the rule to define the entire narrative.

I live in LA county and haven't watched a second of it. The whole thing is silly. This is nothing compared to the fires.

I think the legs of the Biden economy are saving him. In reality the Obama economy is the only reason he was elected. The question now is, will the economic damage finally come to roost on him, or like first term, will the shit hit the fan during the next presidents term?

That decline is certainly not solely or perhaps even mainly due to him specifically, as opposed to being a longer term process. Still, I can see how he would be blamed.

Stealing shoes and televisions is what will make the news, and the American people will chear the troops for stopping it. The protest message gets lost to the image of lawlessness. That is the issue.
