I am kind of arguing on another thread about the importance of knowing and fully understanding history, which sometimes is only possible through thoughtful hindsight. I keep seeing this idea pop up that examining to fully understand what has happened in the past has no value. I am so perplexed by anyone thinking that digging in the past for insight has no value. I am asking without snark, since you seem to be in that camp, can you explain that logic to me?

But logic dictates it should be a rational, factual examination, and not a process driven by emotions and lack of understanding how the justice system works, in order to be useful.

There is so much misinformation and mythology about what Garland did or didn’t do, or what he had the power to do, and it impedes an objective, accurate examination of history.

The press conference was against DOJ rules. I will never buy any of his crappy books and change channels when he is on tv

in 2000 for giving the election to George W Bush instead of Al Gore.

If I go to the "way back machine" the election of Reagan probably is the most responsible for the world we see today. Sadly, the WPP (white people's party) has taken over America and it gets worse every single day.

And the fact that he at least stood up to Trump once Trump was in office mitigated his culpability IMHO.

I get your point and that people are still pissed, but there about a thousand and one people ahead of him at the moment.

James Comey will always be at the absolute top of my list. He altered the outcome of the election through his illegal actions.

trade agreements, not to mention those ticked because their candidate lost in primaries.

Incidentally, had Obama/Clinton not been bashed over pending trade agreements, it would have negated a good bit of trump's campaign in 2024 election.

I’m pissed at the corrupt corporate media for running more stories about Clinton’s emails than any other issue during the campaign and treating it as if it was the worst security breach since the Rosenbergs while they all knew that many in government used private e-mail for years.

I blame some supporters of a certain candidate who still to this day claim the nomination was stolen from him despite no evidence ever shown that it was.

I blame Jill Stein supporters who sat on their high horses so they could claim to be morally superior to everyone else to feed their egos.

I blame public figures like Susan Sarandon and Eddie Glaude who publicly encouraged people not to vote for Clinton.

And yes I blame Comey for twice violating long standing protocols, first with his inappropriate press conference and then again with his letter to republicans within 90 days of an election.
