These are songs that we grew up on so everybody knows the words (well, mostly), like My Country 'Tis of Thee; America the Beautiful; and the National Anthem. Singing peacefully also exposes the stark contrast between people peacefully protesting and an autocrat deploying the military against them.

The only other stuff I can find is this:

-A pro-democracy group is rallying 200-300 people at Fort Reno Park, according to a National Park Service permit application.
-Two other rallies — an "Equity March" and "Refuse Fascism" protest — hope to draw 500 people each to downtown, per an NPS application.
-A different group of organizers in D.C. cancelled a military parade protest that hoped to attract up to 20,000 people Saturday. They had originally planned to gather at Meridian Hill Park and walk to the National Mall.

No Kings does have protests planned all around DC, just not within the city limits. No Kings protests are planned in Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Silver Spring and Takoma Park, Md., plus Arlington, Alexandria and Falls Church, Va.

Second of all, Refusefascism.org is connected to the Revolutionary Communist Party. I would expect most Progressives and Liberals would not want to get involved with that group. I fear they will do something stupid in DC and the media will conflate them with the massive No Kings protests around the country and try to taint the peaceful No Kings protests by association.

Third of all, their last protest in DC was May 17th and I can find absolutely no media coverage of it at all. Apparently the protest attracted less than 100 people. I'd say this organization has n influence at all at this point. At least based on that last protest, the crowd is likely to be too small to cause much harm.

The march to the north side of the White House (Pennsylvania Ave. NW) started around 1:25pm (before that, it was mostly just speeches). Protesters started on Constitution Ave. NW heading west, and were on the sidewalk. Once they hit the Constitution Ave / 17th St. intersection, protesters started heading north on 17th St. NW, taking over the northbound streets. Shortly after, protesters continued their march on the sidewalk (I suspect that secret service told the organizer to have the protesters go on the sidewalk). At around 1:45pm, protesters made it to Pennsylvania Ave. NW heading east. By ~1:50pm, protesters made it to the White House's north side, where the organizers had some speeches and chants occurred.

The protest more or less was done by 2:10pm, with an optional meetup afterwards at Lafayette Square. I left shortly after the protest was done.

I'd like to think that there was a peak of around 70 and 100 people during the protest, but I'm not too sure as I wasn't really keeping track. One thing's for sure, attendance was definitely on the lower side than usual.
