I assume this is a response to trump's "presser" this morning in which he held forth to a compliant media with abandon. Glad that Newsom is telling what really happened, although the media will not give his statement the attention it deserves.

I’m in LA County right now. I turned on local news yesterday. My husband was searching futilely for the Dodger game. KTLA came on. They were showing a fire from Saturday on a loop while the talking head pontificated, spewing misinformation. I haven’t been so pissed at the local LA news since they allowed Rick Caruso, opponent of Karen Bass in the last mayoral election, to get free airtime to bash her during the fires in a warm up for the next election! Yelled at the TV then. Yelled at it yesterday.

It really seems the media’s sprint from the truth has gotten faster recently. We desperately need some truth tellers who aren’t corporate whores.
