It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

(12,547 posts)in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate should be continuously going off on the Trump CABAL on EACH and EVERY SINGLE WEEK DAY AND TWICE A DAY ON WEEKENDS..........
Here in Colorado, we have no room to talk, one of our U.S. Senators is spending ALL of his time running for Colorado Governor and being involved in local school board stuff.
Not sure where the other U.S. Senator from Colorado has been keeping himself......haven't heard much out of him either since the took office.......

(6,330 posts)I had to explain this to my wife, unfortunately. Yeah, it sucks knowing any violent act will be used by MAGA against us, but I have no breath to waste on the predictable effects of Trump's multiple needless escalations when our sole focus should be on his criminal abuses of power, and those who aid and abet them.

(42,719 posts)While having no idea what the current budget is or how much will be needed for any and all military operations do FY-26. Way back in my olden days submitting your budget recommendations will have all Eyes dotted and all Teas Crossed and all errors kept to none. Or else. Trump and hegseth dont know nor do they care. Theyre too busy rooting out imaginary fraud waste and abuse and sending combat Marines into a US City to do what? Not their mission for sure.

(14,283 posts)And about 6 - 8 months planning smaller operations and exercises, I find the lack of real planning and just spending money without thought highly disturbing.
It's not like going on Amazon and buying as many "Amazon Choice" boxes of soldiers and munitions as you can to get Next Day delivery free. And it seems like that's what the plan is.

The Repubs can never be counted on to help anybody but the rich, and themselves, as well. They seem to like at least the idea that we help the haves and screw the have-nots (when were already kicking them straight toward the exit door).

(2,641 posts)yet it was perfectly ok for armed insurrectionists to storm the Capitol, attack police and seek to do harm to the Vice President and unarmed members of Congress.
Piss on these hypocrites.

(4,834 posts)Accountability should start with those in power who are actively shaping policy and escalating tensions. Shifting blame is designed only distract from the real harm being done at the top.

Good for AOC for calling those who initiated the violence out.

(3,016 posts)The conversation needs to shift from "policing the methods of the oppressed" to
"confronting the true nature of the oppressor."
Also, the rules of engagement cannot be set by those who are abusing their power.
