Is the Cult 45/47 running the economy?
I remember during Biden’s term when just a sneeze around the world would send shockwaves into our economy and spike prices. “Greedflation” became a thing because IMO they knew they could raise prices and simply blame inflation. Well now with tariffs in places, even though the most idiotic ones have been backed off, inflation comes in lower than expected. Where I live gas is down 30% year over year even though we aren’t drilling more oil. I’m beginning to think a lot of cult members are in positions of power where they are making decisions on what makes certain politicians look bad or good. I realize that many are public and have stockholders to answer to, but I just can’t believe that companies have simply chosen to eat a 10% minimum tariff without raising prices when they freely did it 3 years ago.
