What the fuck is wrong with Congress?

We have an out of control President and they are doing NOTHING to reign him in.

Its like the teenagers have taken over the residence with a drunken party and the adults won't be home till its burned to the ground.

F...ing coward Republicans, who all seem to be scared to death of him, presumably for both political reasons and fears about the safety of themselves and their families. Democrats are too outnumbered in the House to even get an impeachment underway, especially with Milquetoast Mike Johnson in the speaker's chair.

M$M, "Truth" Social, and Faux noise aren't telling them anything about any of it. At least not in terms we would recognise as being the truth.

Until we can get the actual facts out to the ignorant masses, we are on a hiding to nothing.

They do give speeches that all go into the Congressional Record but don't expect CNN or MSNBC to suddenly break into their broadcasts to devote time to showing most Democrats outside of the more "well known" ones and DU will complain that they are "talking to an empty chamber" (when they speak during "Special Orders" time in the House or "Morning Business" in the Senate).

Rep. Al Green has his own YouTube channel where he uploads his remarks. E.g., from Tuesday (6/10/25) -

Wed Jun 11, 2025, 06:29 PM

Ido solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

NO where in that oath does it say that they can ignore the oath and do what trump tells them to do! They are breaking their oath and should be held accountable for allowing this shit storm to take place.

Generically complaining about "Congress" plays into the media obsession with both sidesism. ALL criticism of Congress must include that it is specifically Republicans in Congress that are the problem.

He's terrified of Fatso and h's making sure nothing that offends his Lard and Savior gets out of committee. Other Republicans are similarly terrified.

The terror might lessen a bit once they get through primary season and they're more terrified of the voters.

Just don't bet the rent on that. Johnson will make sure they're hamstrung.
