but regime change in the Middle East doesn't always work out as intended.

All of the sanctions that have been put on Iran is something more significant. 50% unemployment in Iran. The middle class earns 200 to 300 dollars a month.

The sad thing is that you likely believe 100% in what you wrote. Apparently every government in the Middle East that the USA and especially Israel has a problem with is at fault and should be blamed for preemptive strikes and terrorist sabotaging of weapons of communications that end up killing civilians. It is NEVER the fault of Israel’s never ending paranoia and feeling of persecution nor the USA’s adamant stance to play Israel’s puppet. How fitting that the Middle East countries these two actually get along with are ran by the oil pimps who love to flood their personal bank accounts.

After Israel’s apartheid to genocide maneuvers and its antagonism towards its neighbors and after all of the USA’s greed and warmongering, to still find such posts like this which blames everyone but America and Israel is amazing. No acknowledgment of what happened in 1953. No acknowledgment of the lies about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Just the same talking points use to justify striking a nation that has not attacked you. The people in this country continue to willingly get worse.

130 woman protesters were blinded for protesting in 2024 in Iran. That is their government.

Death to the US.
Death to Israel.
Death to Jews.

One of those three should bother us from a country trying to develop nuclear weapons.

Sound familiar?
The cities and larger towns are full of "educated elitists". Debauched places where there are western ideals like democracy, civil rights, cultural freedoms - all the things that make your kids disrespectful and want to move away to live their own lives, instead of remaining to be part of the local traditional hierarchy where everyone knows their place and life proceeds as it should.

That's what keeps the Ayatollahs and their councils in power in Iran.
The same thing that keeps getting the GOP elected. Rural fiefdoms fearing the loss of their local importance and autonomy in an expanding world.
Bombing Iran will not cause doubt in the local populations and trigger an overthrow of an unreasonable government; that sort of action never has throughout history. It only entrenches the existing government.

It took China an estimated 4-5 weeks to go from having enough enriched Uranium to a Nuclear weapon. Given the Iranian government, the risk is too high. I’ve worked in the Middle East and I heard a universal thought on Iran. They all said a beautiful country, great people, horrible untrusted government. They didn’t want Iran to have a strong military either, because what they have goes to terrorist and ends up being used against their neighbors.
