Did MF Give Iran A 60 Day Warning?

I read here on DU earlier that a president needs to give a country a 60 day warning/notice to negotiate in order to go to Congress for approval to declare war. I tried to find a source where this was documented or a link and I couldn’t find one, just some bullshit claims by MF that he did give 60 days notice. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

And wouldn’t it have to be the full congressional delegation?

I don't believe the presidents that have used the military to hit targets in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, etc. -- a group that includes Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush2, Obama, Biden and Trump -- have done so. It's not expressly required by the Constitution or by the War Powers Resolution.

5. Agree. Now, if he mounts daily bombing raids, deploys troops, etc., he's likely on less firm ground.

How many conflicts have we been in since?

It took China 4-5 weeks to develop a nuclear weapon after having enough enriched uranium.

I’m getting more on board with this. Israel should have gone in on foot and done it themselves. But Iran needs to stop for our own safety.
