I cant speak for every city, but I can speak to whats happening here in LA.
ICE bounty hunters arent going after gang members or dangerous criminals. Theyre targeting the vulnerable, the easy pickings. Gardeners, street vendors, day laborers. People just trying to survive. Because its quick money and low risk.
Folks need to stop pretending ICE is cleaning up crime. Thats not whats happening. Youve seen the video of the man beaten by ICE. Now listen closely to the details.
@jacobsoboroff

The cops have always focused on the easy targets. Because, see, easy.
It's easy to arrest hookers and drunks. Not so easy to arrest people who are armed to the teeth. It's not who gets arrested; it's the number of arrests that counts.
