All the TV stations were there for coverage. I went with my neighbor. We had a blast. Late in the event, some Palestine protesters showed up. We left very happy.

I got this email 5 hours ago: HAPPENING TODAY!
Join the Nebraska Democratic Party on 72nd & Dodge today at 4:30PM as we unite with the Omaha NAACP, the Black Church PAC, the Eastern Nebraska Jurisdiction of the Church or GOD in Christ (COGIC), and supporters to TELL Don Bacon to vote NO on the Big Bad Bill, protecting 78,275 Nebraskans from losing their healthcare from Nebraska Medicaid.
In NE02 alone, 25,000 of Bacons own constituents are set to lose their Medicaid coverage.
This is our time to let him know that he can do the right thing for Nebraskans before he retires.

(6,482 posts)1. I read on another thread that TSF is going to be speaking tomorrow in Des Moines
at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. I'm tempted to make a sign and drive the two hours to march up and down the sidewalk across from the entrance to the venue.....
