I can imagine lawsuits being filed, and Trump doing his usual delay, delay, delay moves, and eventually kicking it to the SCOTUS, where it's six to three.

It's gotten to the point where I think God is the only one who can intervene here. Congress isn't going to stop him. Every time a pundit or the media expresses fears or concerns about Trump either calling off the midterms or monkeying with them, it "gives him ideas," it reinforces things he's probably already thinking about. And what he's looking to do is inflict the maximum damage on the largest number of people.

He wants to start deporting U.S. citizens next.

I'll bet Roberts, Alito and Thomas...plus Leonard Leo's Three Stooges...would sign off on that as well.
