Trump is the most un-American president this country has ever had.

I've been watching a documentary on Abraham Lincoln on Amazon Prime. What an amazing man. History used him to keep our country together and work toward the ending of slavery.

Trump is the complete opposite. He is attempting to destroy everything the founders created and divide the country in half. He wants a civil war. He wants to annihilate the Constitution and become a king.

He will be the end of this beautiful country if we do not rid ourselves of him.

he was a psycho racist and an alcoholic. Probably as bad as trump.

I wonder if Abraham Lincoln had chosen a different VP what would have become of the southern states and our country. But, then without johnson it's possible Lincoln wouldn't have had a second term.

I believe in 1848 when he was in Congress, his position was that concession to the southern states should be maintained. Not because he believed in slavery, but in order to preserve the Union of the States. He was ready to wait a little longer and hoped that the issue could be worked out. Obviously, it didn't.

Lincoln didn't bow to political pressure. He did what he believed was right for the country and his belief changed.

I fear his right-wing dangerous dehumanizing rhetoric will only lead to violence.
